After watching all of the movie trailers for the Golden Globes nominated films, We've decided to start a new series here on the blog. We'll be posting reviews on movie trailers. First up, designer Tom Ford's Nocturnal Animals.
The trailer is quite suspenseful and intriguing. It is also very mysterious. We had to watch the trailer several times to try to get a feel for what the storyline is. So here's our best guess...

Amy Adam's character is haunted by something she's done in the past that has come back to haunt her. She is then forced to painfully confront her past with the support and encouragement from friends or loved ones. The frustrating part is that we don't know what she's done. We know it involves her ex-husband and that it might be as serious as something involving death. Gasp! But what?! Such a cliff hanger makes us want to see the film.
Since Tom Ford directed it, we would be remiss if we did not discuss the costuming. The glimpse of the green dress Amy Adams wore in the trailer looks sleek, stylish, and comfortable. We're guessing it's a Tom Ford design, and loving the peep hole neckline.
Has anyone seen the film already? We're hoping to see it soon. If we do, we'll post a more detailed review. But until then, we're left wondering what Amy's character did. The suspense is palpable!
