Today's Video Of The Week gives you tips to make your sewing look professional. One tip that we hadn't heard of before, that sounds like a great idea is crossing the wrong side of the fabric with chalk. I can't tell you how many times I got confused and had to re-start a project after using the wrong side of the fabric. Seems like using the chalk can save time and avoid frustration. Check out the video and let us know of any tips that YOU use for better sewing.
 A few weeks ago, we visited a little place in Riverside called The Pink Ribbon Place. They promote breast cancer awareness and provide no cost resources for those affected with the disease. Some of the resources they provide are hats, scarves, and turbans for women going through chemotherapy or experiencing hair loss. Weren't we surprised when our tour guide Erin pulled out a lovely crocheted hat as a sample of items they provide for free. Certainly right up our alley, and brings us back to one of our Fall Must-Haves, The knit beanie.
