It's official, our new sewing crush is April, from "Thrifted Transformations." This week, we're hipping you onto another one of her episodes. This time, she'll show you how to make a prom dress from dresses found at a thrift store. Oh so thrifty!! If you get a chance, subscribe to her Youtube channel and excuse us while we surf some more of her inspirational videos... A tisket, a tasket, a Cris-Croched Easter basket! Easter will be here in no time and we want to help you get prepared. Starting with this free Easter crochet pattern.

We're starting a new series of posts called Cris-Croched (pronounced kris-crawshd). We'll share our finished projects that we've completed. Many will be from patterns from fellow bloggers, others will be from creations we've made ourselves. This week, we're sharing the Yenni Slouch Hat we made from a free pattern from Little Monkeys Crochet.
Quite a pleasant surprise to find this video of the week! April's Youtube episode "Thrifted Transformations" shows you how to recreate Taylor Swift's Grammy Look on the cheap. She'll show you how to upcycle dresses you can purchase at a thrift shop and sew them into a skirt and crop top comparable to the outfit Taylor wore to the Grammys this year. So check it out and if you end up sewing it up, do show and tell in the comments below!
If you live in Southern California, as we do, chances are you've heard about or attended star studded red carpet events. Today, we're kicking of a new series, covering red carpet designers. First up on the list? Mickael Kors. He was featured on the Labor Day 2016 Issue of Hamptons Magazine.
