An instructor graciously instructed how to apply the makeup step by step. She also impressed upon the participants the importance of and ways to avoid cross contamination by cleaning brushes, avoiding beauty blenders, and using a tissue to clean pencils.
One of the tips I found most helpful was her demonstration on how to map out eyebrows. The instructor also gave pointers on hats, scarves, and turbans, including different ways to style them. A large brim hat for example, to keep away damaging sun rays.
