Browsing through the Craftsy crocheting blog, I came across a free cowl crochet pattern from Posh Patterns. The intro stated that it is an easy, quick work up. Now that was right up my alley so I decided to Cris-Croche it. After finishing , I can agree that it is extremely easy since the only stitch used is a half double crochet. This is what makes it quick to complete. The pattern was very easy to follow so if you're a beginner it's perfect for you.
Since the pattern is straight forward and only uses one stitch, we had no issues.
Simple, straight forward pattern. No fixing up needed.
All in all, this pattern is excellent for a beginner crocheter. To add a little flare, we embellished it by hand sewing glittery beads in the shape of an awareness ribbon. Other ideas to enhance it would be to personalize it with a monogram. Whichever you choose, as always we want to know how YOURS turned out. Share it with us in the comments.
