As summer comes to an end, it's time to start pulling out your warm winter/fall clothing. One of the standards of a fall wardrobe is a great sweater. We're not talking those lightweight, cheap sweaters, we're talking the thick, heavy knitted sweaters. The trick is to find one with lots of detailed cabling. But if you're going to go plain, make sure it's one with a great color combination to make your outfit stand out. Choose earth tone colors for a warm vibe.
Here's a dilemma we all face every now and then. You've gained a little weight but you're still using your old dress form because you either can't afford to buy a new one or you plan to loose the weight soon and don't want to buy a new one. Has this ever happened to you? It's a situation we're facing currently. As a result, we decided to do a bit of research on solutions and this week's Video Of The Week is what we found. The solution? Pad your dress form. Who knew it only takes a few things like rulers, pins, padding, bra, batting, and felt as explained in the video. Don't believe me? Just watch the video.
Dramatic sleeves are loud. Simply put, " look at me!" So if you want to make a statement with your next outfit, go with a dramatic sleeve. Just make sure it's cute and stylish.

As mentioned in a prophetic line from one of the Netflix trailers for The Crown, "The Crown must win. Must always win." And so it did, at the 2017 Emmys. For Costume Design that is. Though it received 13 overall Emmy nominations, surprisingly it won only a measly 3, including the win for Outstanding Periond/Fantasy Costumes For A Series, Limited Series Or Movie. Just as we predicted.
